Mechanical Engineering & Design
From field measurement to production drawing.
Mueller's designers translate field measurements, legacy equipment, and process problems into manufacturable drawings. Because the same company builds what it draws, the design accounts for how the part will actually be cut, welded, machined, and installed.
- Mechanical design and CAD modeling
- Field measurement and site surveys
- Reverse engineering of legacy equipment
- Performance and throughput upgrades
- Safety and ergonomic improvements
- Design-for-manufacture review
A process built around your uptime.
Walk the process
We start where the problem is — on your floor, measuring what exists and how it runs today.
Design & review
Concepts and drawings come back for your review before anything is cut.
Build in-house
The approved design moves straight to our own machine and fabrication shop.
Common questions
Does Mueller Pro Solutions do mechanical engineering and CAD design?
Yes. Mueller's in-house designers produce mechanical designs, CAD models, and production drawings for custom industrial equipment, upgrades, and reverse-engineered replacements from our Sherman, Texas shop.
Can you design around equipment that's still running?
Yes. Field measurement and sequencing around your production calendar are a standard part of how we scope a project.
Do you only design what you build?
Most engagements run design-through-build, which is where the value is — one accountable team from drawing to installation.
What if the original drawings for our equipment are gone?
That's common. We measure the existing equipment on site and rebuild the geometry, then design the replacement or upgrade from those measurements.
Can you design a safety or ergonomic improvement for an existing line?
Yes. Safety and ergonomic improvements, guarding, and access changes are a regular part of our design work.
How is design-for-manufacture handled?
Because the same company machines, welds, and installs the design, drawings are reviewed against how the part will actually be cut, welded, and set in place before anything is released.
Do you do site surveys?
Yes. We walk the process, measure what exists, and document how it runs today before proposing a design.
How do I start an engineering project with Mueller?
Call (903) 868-3585 or email info@muellerprosolutions.com with a description of the process problem. We offer free consultations for most projects, depending on the scope and complexity of the work.
Have a part nobody can build?
We probably can.
Send us a drawing, a photo, or just a description. A Mueller engineer will respond within one business day with a clear path to a quote, no fluff, no runaround.
